1924 Edition of an Atlas of the World. Lots of photos, several in color. 384 pages plus another 47 of index, Original leather cover, The color illustrations are heavy on World War One content because it had ended just 6 years before this was published. Interesting to see the differences in the civilized world between then and now. ATTENTION!!! This book has been sold and returned recently here on ebay. I felt that the photos, which I have not changed, sufficiently showed the damage it has sustained over a century. Gouges, scrapes, punctures--it looks as if it went through a meat grinder. YET, it is structurally sound, despite a page or three up front being loose. Furthermore, it was written at a time which in hindsight was near the beginning of the spike on the 'hockey stick' graph of human history. Oddly, I can't find the typical copyright information. There is a line or two about photo credits, but no book publisher.
Excellent description and photos. Seller's rating was quite conservative (he called it "Acceptable," but, except for some sun-bleaching on the jacket, many sellers would have listed this as Good (or better!)). Nicely packed, shipped quickly and excellent value. I would definitely buy from this seller again.
