Antique 12.5" Carved Gilt Wood QUAN YIN Statue-Chinese-Qing-Kwan/Guan/Buddha. Antique statue of Quan Yin. Hand carved wood with gilt finish and painted accents. All original. Scattered light typical handling-related wear: scattered light scratches/rubs to gilt. DESCRIPTION: Antique statue of Quan Yin. Hand carved wood with gilt finish and painted accents. Compartment/cavity in back. All original. Note that there is a dovetail joint visible on bottom. 19th century I believe. Presumed Chinese. CONDITION: A few scattered small age-related splits. Nothing significant or conspicuous. Otherwise generally very good original condition. No damage and no significant wear. No restorations / touch ups. No other splits. No chips, nicks, flakes, cracks, bruises, breaks, losses, scuffs. No significant scratches or rubs. Old patina as found. Generally clean as found. Scattered light typical handling-related wear: scattered light scratches/rubs to gilt.
