STOCK PHOTOS ONLY ASTERISK Asterisk showcases the performances of nine distinct wakeskaters. The participants in Asterisk came together from various company "teams" to perform in front of the cameras. This film distinguishes itself from earlier productions by highlighting a diverse array of wakeskaters from different brands. During the filming process, numerous riders achieved new tricks for the first time in their careers, marking significant milestones in the brief history of wakeskating. This infectious energy inevitably fosters high spirits and an enjoyable atmosphere. The highlight is that Album Films was present, capturing every moment with their cameras constantly rolling. Asterisk Features The Riding Of Scott Byerly Thomas Horrell Danny Hampson Brian Grubb Steve Wahlman Drew McGuckin Daniel Lovett Brandon Thomas Aaron Reed The main idea behind Asterisk was to gather a selection of professional wakeskaters and take them to a secluded spot for a week of filming. By providing the riders with ample materials to construct rails, gaps, and pools, the goal was to let the action unfold on camera. Justin Stephens of Album Films conceived this vision and brought it to life. The aim was to encourage progression while the lenses captured the excitement. Although this concept is quite brilliant, a week may not suffice to gather enough footage for a full-length video. As most of the riding in Asterisk occurs behind personal watercraft, a significant portion of the footage was filmed from the shoreline. Additionally, there are chase scenes from other PWC's, aerial shots from helicopters, and content shot with a boom, allowing the crew to achieve close-ups and overhead perspectives. The shoreline views create an immersive experience, making it feel like you are alongside everyone as a rider takes to the water. The video was created using a mixture of digital video and 16mm film. All in all, Asterisk is an excellent film that you will definitely want in your collection. The concept of the video embodies the essence of the sport for many of us, and even without the impressive tricks it features, it would still achieve success. The cheers from fellow riders each time someone lands a great trick truly immerse you in the experience. All riders can resonate with that lively atmosphere and enthusiasm. Furthermore, having another "all wakeskate" video available is fantastic for the sport, as it broadens understanding of what wakeskating entails and demonstrates its growth and potential for the future. 27 minutes For DVD Player (North American NTSC) ITEM IS: USED - DVD IN SLEEVE WHAT YOU GET: This auction is for the original media, and includes only the media (ie.
