Bethany Zill is an American singer, songwriter, and producer known for her contributions to country and bluegrass music. She has collaborated with prominent artists, including Grammy Award winners Stuart Duncan and Gene Libbea. Raised on a five-generation farm and ranch in North Dakota, Zill’s early musical influences include listening to her grandfather play “old-time music” on his fiddle. These experiences inspired her 2006 album, “Where Roots Run Deep,” which features themes of prairie life, farming, ranching, heritage, and the preservation of roots. She wrote five of the twelve songs on this album. In addition to her music career, Zill has made notable contributions to children’s entertainment. She earned three Parents’ Choice Awards for her roles as singer, songwriter, and producer in the children’s films “All About Cowboys for Kids, Part 1” (2005) and “All About Cowboys for Kids, Part 2” (2011). Zill has also been involved in the film industry, serving as an assistant to producers on the 2017 film “Just Getting Started” and as an office production assistant for the 2022 film “Cowboy Drifter.” Currently residing in Laramie, Wyoming, Zill continues to perform nationwide and is sought after for concerts across the country.
