Description
Pocket KJV Bible Red Lined In Good Condition 1650 This is a beautiful pocket KJV Bible dated 1650. The cover is worn and somewhat damaged but it is original. Throughout this Bible text, titles and edges have been highlighted in red ink during the printing process. Around the edges of the paper there is a gilding that has been almost untouched. The pages is 100% legible, aside from a small amount of foxing, and the two bits of (what I assume are) water damage that I have found. The interior of the book is practically unused. As if someone received this as a gift and then placed it in on a shelf. To my knowledge the closest classification I could find is: Herbert - 625/ Darlow and Moule - 489 Dimensions: Weight - 350g Height - 15cm Width - 8.5cm Thickness - 3.5cm Damage (Please see above photos for reference): The top part of the spine is damaged The clasp is missing The cover shows some wearing There is some water damage (I could find 2 near the beginning of the bible) There is very light foxing found throughout the book.
