Gear arrived from Canada to the US in a timely manner. 3D printed gear clearly not the same quality as the failed factory gear, made of phenolic or some other tough resin, with a brass center pressed together. I pressed gear off shaft in vice using socket. Time will tell how it holds up. Big relief that the mixer is working again. metal reinforced 3D printing would be a good idea. Cuisine Art doesn't sell that gear, unlike KitchenAid who do, shame on them for further trashing our planet.

  2. Got my handles in fast. They are very well made and great quality. They value is great and all the hardware to put them in. It will be a couple more days before I can install them, but looking forward to getting them on. Thank you for a great looking product and one that will be easier to fix then factory. It looks like it will not get hard to work when they get older like the factory ones.
