Published by W B Saunders Co. 6 inches wide by 9 1/2 inches tall. No dust jacket. Maroon cloth covers with gold stamping on spine. 410 pages. 193 illustrations, the majority micrographs, the rest are b&w photos. Condition: The covers show light shelf wear: spine edges rolled, outer corners not bumped but are rubbed, little/no rubbing on the edges; page edges unmarked. Faint owner name on the FFEP and penciled note on the RFEP, otherwise inner pages are clean, tight, and unmarked; glossy with little/no toning.
